Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Aged & 1884 Small Batch Whiskey Set presents a honey and warm brown sugar, cedar, orange peel and tobacco flower. Spices of ground ginger and white pepper on the nose. On the palate this Whiskey presents a caramel balanced with spicy wood tannins. Notes of baking chocolate, cigar leaf, nougat and cinnamon. With it's long and smooth finish cinnamon lingers with dark chocolate, oak tannins and maple syrup.

Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Aged & 1884 Small Batch Whiskey Set is a brand of Tennessee whiskey named after a formerly enslaved man, Nathaniel “Nearest” Green, who taught a young Jack Daniel the craft of distilling. The 1856 Premium Aged Whiskey is soft enough to sip neat or robust enough to carry through any whiskey-based cocktail. The 1884 Small Batch Whiskey is drawn from barrels handpicked by the CEO and honors the memory of Nearest; each label from this batch is signed by the relative who curates the batch.Every batch of Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey is hand-selected by our founders and curated by fifth-generation Master Blender, Victoria Eady Butler, who’s signature is on the back of each bottle. Aged a minimum of 7 years, and bottled at 93-proof, this is a smooth sipping whiskey.
